Integration with ShareThis
EasyDNNnews module uses ShareThis service for social sharing. It is included automatically in the module and templates and uses default settings. It uses token [EasyDNNnews:SocialButtons:ShareThis] in templates for display sharing buttons. This is valid for EasyDNNnews module version 11.8.5 and newer. Previously EasyDNNnews module used AddThis service integration. That service is no longer working. You need to upgrade to version 11.8.5 or newer.
To customize the look of the sharing buttons you will need to create account on ShareThis service (https://sharethis.com/). Log in to your ShareThis account. Add new domain.
Select Inline Sharing Buttons
Click Enable tool
You will be given the default look. You can now customize it if you want.
After customizing button click on Activate code.
You will be given HTML code. You only need the value of property parameter. In this case it is: 64be27f11734a80012bd6081. Now copy that value and save it you will need to enter it into EasyDNNnews module.
Open EasyDNNnews module, go to Dashboard and open API connections.
Go to ShareThis settings and enter property value.
Another way to customize sharing buttons is to enter it onto the token on the template.
