How to setup PayPal Sandbox account
Before using and accepting PayPal payments you can setup you website and your PayPal account for testing purposes. This is called Sandboxing or Sandbox mode.
When you set Sandbox mode you will receive two accounts: one for seller and one for buyer. You can use this accounts to test PayPal payments.
To setup PayPal Sandbox go to https://developer.paypal.com and login with your existing PayPal account.
Go to the Dashboard.
On the left under the Sandbox click on the Accounts.
You should have created two accounts. One with the “facilitator” in the email address that you can use for receiving payments. You can also use this email address as an API key to test receiving payments.
The other one contains the word “buyer” as the part of an email address and you can use it to make test payments. These email addresses are also logins.
Now you need to change the password for each account. To do that, click on the Profile link under the email address and the pop-up will open in which you can change the password.
Now you have two Sandbox accounts set for testing purposes. You can login with this two accounts on the https://www.sandbox.paypal.com and test them.
These accounts can be used in the EasyDNNnews for testing purposes. To use them, the option „Sandbox mode” in the EasyDNNnews must be turned on.
