Connect Social Stream Media Gallery with Flicker

How to create Flickr app

Log in to your Flickr account and go to URL: https://www.flickr.com/services/apps/create.

Click on “Request an API Key”. You should now be at the URL: https://www.flickr.com/services/apps/create/apply/

Click on “APPLY FOR A NON-COMMERCIAL KEY”.

Click on “SUBMIT” and you will receive an API key and API secret. You only need the API key, so copy it. Later, you can find your API keys at this URL: https://www.flickr.com/services/api/keys/.

How to connect EasyDNNgallery and Flickr application

Open the website with the EasyDNNgallery module. Go to Dashboard>API settings and enter your Flickr API key. Click on “Save Flickr Api Key”.

Now go to “Gallery settings” control and select “Social stream media gallery” display. Under “Select media stream source” option select “Flickr”.

Now you need to enter a user ID. To get your user ID go to URL: https://www.flickr.com/services/api/explore/flickr.people.findByUsername

Your user id is under “Your user ID:” on that page. Copy it and enter into the EasyDNNgallery module. Click on “Check user ID” and you will able to set other display settings.
