Localizing EasyDNNmaps dynamic content
EasyDNNmaps supports the dynamic localization of content, so you can enter translations for an unlimited number of languages, or rather all the languages used on your web site.
For the content localization controls to appear, you must have at least one non-default language installed on your DNN portal. You can do that by accessing the Admin menu and selectng the Languages option.
Localization of markers
Map markers can be localized by navigating to the desired marker in the marker list and clicking on the HTML editor option. That will take you to a control where you'll be able to localize the marker title and description for the language selected from the dropdown menu. Once you're done with your entry, don't forget to save your changes by clicking on Save or Save and close buttons.
Localization of categories
Once there are at least two languages installed on your portal, the localization (globe) icons will appear at the far end of the category node. By clicking it you can access the localization interface for the selected category. The localization interface consists of the following fields:
Default portal language - the current default portal language
Installed languages dropdown menu - list of all currently installed languages except the default language
Copy from default language - copies the default portal language's value for the selected category's name
Delete selected translation - deletes the selected localization
Category name translation - the selected category's localized value for the selected language
Localization of routes and waypoints
The localization inteface is common for routes and waypoints - the only difference is that in route localization the localization fields are route name and route description and in waypoint localization the fields are waypoint name and waypoint description.
Routes
To access route localization, edit the created route and select the Manage localization button in the right corner of the page.
Waypoints
To access waypoint localization, edit the created route, navigate to waypoint option at the bottom part of the page, expand the desired waypoint and and select the Manage localization button.
