Exporting/Importing EasyDNNmaps content

The Export/Import functionality is divided into four options:

  • Import content from an existing module
  • Import content from an existing XML file
  • Upload an XML file containing EasyDNNmaps content and
  • Export content into an XML file

Importing content from an existing module

The following options are available:

Module instance - select the module instance from which you want to import content.

Import source - select one or more sources you want to import from. You can import categories, markers and routes along with their localizations.

NOTE: For the category/marker connection to stay intact, both the categories and the markers need to be imported at the same time!

Importing content from an existing XML file

This option enables you to select from a list of already uploaded XML files in the directory. By selecting a valid XML file and confirming the import, all the content contained in the XML file will be imported into the current module.

Uploading an XML file containing EasyDNNmaps content

This option enables you to browse for and upload a valid XML file generated from any other module. By selecting a valid XML file and confirming the upload, the XML file will be saved into the predefined directory and will be automatically added to the XML file list so it can immediately be selected for import.

The final option enables you to name the export file and select the desired content source to export. Once the content is selected and the file named, if you confirm the export, an XML file will be generated and saved into the predefined directory.
