Instructions on how to create a copy of EasyDNN Themes' demo site in 15 minutes

The EasyDNN Theme & Module Collection 17 currently includes 12 DNN themes, 8 DNN modules, and 4 tools modules. Each of our DNN themes has its demo site. It takes approximately 15 minutes to create a fully functional copy of a demo site from any theme.

Here are the instructions on how to do it

Technical Prerequisite
Installed DNN CMS 9.x

Step 1
Install one of the EDS themes. In our example, we have chosen the NewsDaily theme (1 minute).

Step 2
Install EasyDNN tool modules (2 minutes).

Step 3
Install the essential EasyDNN content modules (3 minutes)

• EasyDNN Gallery
• EasyDNN Rotator

Step 4
Install advanced EasyDNN content modules (3 minutes)

• EasyDNN Maps
• EasyDNN AccessibilityModule
• EasyDNN SocialStream
• EasyDNN Mailchimp Plus
• EasyDNN SimpleForum module

Step 5
Download the export file of the NewsDaily theme (1 min).

In the folder of each theme, there is a shortcut with a link to the export file that you will download from our site.

Step 6
Copy the export file to the DNN folder (1 min).
• Unzip the exported site file and copy its content to /App_Data/ExportImport/

Step 7
Run the DNN import page for content.

Import the site from the DNN menu Settings > Import/Export

Step 8
Finally, importing content into the News module is crucial to configure module settings (1 min).

Import content to EasyDNNnews. Go to EasyDNNnews module > Dashboard > Export-Import and select the file "skinname-dummy-content.xml" and click on "Import".
