How to moderate comments

After your Facebook application has been setup and once you have connected it to the EasyDNNsimpleForum module you can moderate all added comments in the Facebook Moderation Tool. To be able to moderate comments your website must be online.

First, Login to your Facebook developers account and go to: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/comments and select your application as shown on the image below.

The “Public” option enables all the added comments to become visible on the forum topic page and will appear in the “Review” tab in the comments moderation tool. Comments containing blacklisted words will also be visible on the forum topic page.

The ”Review Blacklisted Comments” option will enable comments without blacklisted words to become public and visible on the forum topic page, as well as appear in the “Review” tab in the comments moderation tool. Comments containing blacklisted words will appear under Hidden and Review tabs but they will not appear on the forum topic page.

The “Closed” option will enable all the comments to become hidden. Only comments without blacklisted words will appear in the “Review” tab and all the other comments will appear on the “Hidden” tab. None of the comments will appear on the forum topic page.
